Thank you for visiting our website. Universe for U LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors to our website and other LOVINTEL resources, and treating the personal and corporate information of our website users, customers, and vendors with respect and sensitivity.

We wrote this Privacy Policy to help you understand what information we collect, how we use it, and other important information regarding our privacy practices.

1.1. Scope and Application

This Privacy Policy describes how the Company collects, uses, and shares information about visitors to our websites, attendees of our programs, individuals who contact us to purchase materials or request information, and other users of our services. 

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through this website (www.lovintel.com), and any other LOVINTEL-owned websites, live and virtual programs, mobile apps, online or mobile-enabled technology, social media, videos, blogs, newsletters, emails, links, or any other electronic communications or digital tools known or unknown (collectively, “Services”).

You should also be aware that when Personal Information is voluntarily disclosed (i.e. your name, email address, etc.) in the discussion forums or other public areas in Services, that information, along with any information disclosed in your communication, can be collected and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from third parties. Such activities are beyond LOVINTEL’s control and this Privacy Policy does not apply to such information. Therefore, consider your comments carefully and do not include anything that you would like to keep private within the discussion forums or other public areas within Services.

LOVINTEL and all LOVINTEL’s Services are legal entities of Universe for U LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to all entities owned by Universe for U LLC.

1.3. Updates

As our Services evolve and we perceive the need or desirability of using your personal data collected in other ways, we may from time to time amend this Privacy Policy without notice. The effective date appears at the end of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of Services after such changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of these changes.   • Identifiers: name, address, email, and phone; for current or prospective affiliates, suppliers, and subcontractors, personal information such as social security number, federal tax ID number, or other relevant information, as applicable;
  • Other data: credit card and account information collected when you purchase products or services; medical and health data (e.g., as necessary when participating in some of our programs); self-assessment data and results, such as information you input when taking self-assessment quizzes, DISC assessment tests, and the like;
  • Protected classes: gender, sexual orientation, self-assessment data and results (i.e., information you input when taking self-assessment quizzes, DISC assessment tests, and registering for programs);
  • Professional data: for those considering careers with Company, professional data and education information such as resumé or C.V., education history, citizenship information, and position sought, as applicable;
  • Education information: as needed for participation in programs;
  • Inferences: personal information about your preferences, characteristics, attitudes, predispositions, abilities, aptitudes, intelligence, psychological traits, as well as goals and aspirations for our products or services, or inferences derived from that information.
  • We do not collect or receive biometric information or sensory data.

When interacting with our Services via social media, we may obtain information stored within social media or authorized by you to be collected by us within such social media. This information may include your friends and pages with whom you have an association and other information stored within social media.

2.2. Information We Collect Automatically

We may utilize certain third-party products or services (“Third Party Tools”), such as Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, in order to better understand the use of our Services.

When you visit our website we may automatically collect and store the following information:

  • The Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, referring website address, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;

  • Self-assessment testing – for administering and providing self-assessment testing services, including the DISC assessment test;
  • Cloud services – for provision of cloud storage services;
  • Contractual performance – for the performance of any contract we enter into with you, or they enter with you on behalf of the Company;
  • Web analytics — analytics and search engine service providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our site;
  • Medical assessment – for the analysis of medical and health information you submit to determine if you are an appropriate participant in our programs.

We may also disclose your personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we will disclose your Personal Information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets as part of the purchase, transfer, or sale of services or assets;
  • If we sell all or substantially all of our assets to a third party, in which case personal information about our customers will be one of the transferred assets;
  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your Personal Information in order to comply with any legal obligation, or any lawful request by public authorities (including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements), or in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our customers, or others.

We will keep your personal data for as long as we need it, or as otherwise prescribed by law, for the purposes set out above.  This period will vary depending on your interactions with us. We may also keep a record of correspondence with you (for example if you have made a complaint about a product) for as long as is necessary to protect us from a legal claim.

6. Your Control of Information

You have control over your personal information and have many options to protect it, including disabling cookies, opting out of newsletters, or ceasing use of this website and/or other Services. Please note that doing so may affect your experience with some of our Services.

You may unsubscribe from any of our online e-mail updates and marketing by following the unsubscribe instructions in the body of any e-mail message we have sent to you. We will take commercially reasonable steps to implement your unsubscribe requests promptly, but you may still receive promotional information form us by mail for up to 60 days, and up to 10 days for e-mail. You may also continue to receive information from those third parties to whom we have previously disclosed your Personal Information.

Please note that when you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we will keep a record of your email address to ensure we do not send you marketing emails in the future.

The security of your information is important to us. We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. But you should keep in mind that no website or internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free. We take security very seriously, and this website and other Services comply with current best practices. Information may be password protected and resides on a secured website that only we have access to. Any credit card processing is handled by a third-party merchant, processing company, and complies with best practices.

Any passwords used for this website and other Services are for individual use only. You will be responsible for the security of your password (if any). LOVINTEL will be entitled to monitor your password and, at its discretion, require you to change it. If you use a password that LOVINTEL considers insecure, LOVINTEL will be entitled to require the password to be changed and/or terminate your account.

You are prohibited from using any services or facilities provided in connection with Services to compromise security or tamper with system resources and/or accounts. The use or distribution of tools designed for compromising security (e.g., password guessing programs, cracking tools or network probing tools) is strictly prohibited. If you become involved in any violation of system security, LOVINTEL reserves the right to release your details to system administrators at other websites in order to assist them in resolving security incidents. LOVINTEL reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of these Terms of Use.

LOVINTEL reserves the right to fully cooperate with any law enforcement authority or court order requesting or directing LOVINTEL to disclose the identity of anyone posting any e-mail messages or publishing or otherwise making available any materials that are believed to violate these Terms of Use.

BY ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT, YOU WAIVE AND HOLD HARMLESS LOVINTEL FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY LOVINTEL DURING OR AS A RESULT OF ITS INVESTIGATIONS AND/OR FROM ANY ACTIONS TAKEN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF INVESTIGATIONS BY EITHER LOVINTEL OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES.

8. Access to Other Websites

This Privacy Policy only addresses privacy practices of LOVINTEL-owned websites and other Services.

LOVINTEL may, from time to time, provide links to websites and/or access to content, products, and services of third parties, including without limitation, LOVINTEL strategic partners and other entities (“Linked Sites”). These links and/or access to content, products, and services are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as a guarantee, representation, warranty or recommendation by LOVINTEL regarding the privacy practices of, or the services, information, content and/or data on such Linked Sites, or as an indication of any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement of the Linked Sites by LOVINTEL or vice versa.

You should refer to the separate terms of use, privacy policies, and other notices posted on Linked Sites before you use them, and your use of Linked Sites is subject to their respective terms of use, privacy policies, and other notices.

LOVINTEL does not author, edit or monitor the Linked Sites, and is not responsible or liable for (a) the availability of or content provided on or accessible through the Linked Sites; (b) your dealings with the Linked Sites, the payment for and delivery of goods or services, or any terms, conditions, warranties, or representations associated with such dealings; or (c) any loss or damage whatsoever you may incur from dealing with the Linked Sites.

9. Age Restrictions and Laws

9.1. COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act)

We do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children (we define “children” as minors younger than thirteen (13)) on our Services. We do not knowingly allow children to communicate with us or use any of our Services. If you are a parent and become aware that your child has provided us with information, please contact us using the form provided on the Contact Us page in this website, and we will work with you to address this issue.

10. Miscellaneous Privacy Issues

10.1. California and Delaware “Do Not Track” Disclosures

California and Delaware law require us to indicate whether we honor “Do Not Track” settings in your browser concerning targeted advertising. Currently, there is no worldwide uniform or consistent industry standard or definition for responding to, processing or communicating Do Not Track signals. Thus, like many other websites and online services, we do not currently respond to any Do Not Track browser requests.

10.2. California Privacy Rights

Under California law, California residents have the right to request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship, (a) a list of the categories of personal information, such as name, email and mailing address, and the type of services provided to the customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes and (b) the name and address of all such third parties. Please note that we are only required to respond to each customer once per calendar year.

10.3. Using and/or Accessing Online Services from Outside the United States

LOVINTEL is located in the United States. The educational information, entertainment, and content provided within the Services are directed only at customers in the United States. If you are visiting the Services, or any part thereof, from outside the United States of America, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United States and maintained on computers or servers located outside your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.
